Collector Armor Art - Guild Wars Forums

Here is a bit of a noob question. I am attempting to collect my own gallary of armor screen shoots and I wanted to know; is the collector armor in Tyria the same art as the starter armor or is it slightly diffrent as I have been told?

GuildWiki seems to be unclear on this. Thanks.

I think all Ascalon armor from Factions is the same as starters armor in prophecies. You can buy Ascalon armor in Kaineng center. Not sure if there is a collector for it (afaik collectors armors are missing bonuses)...

In Tyria, the starter armor has one skin and the collector armor has a different skin.

Starter Tyrian armor = http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Ascalon_Armor_%28art%29

Tyrian Collector armor = http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Krytan_Armor

Please note that the Factions professions at the bottom are not included in my statements as they do not have Tyrian starter or collector armor available. The core profession images on the two links I posted are the starter and collector armors in Tyria. In Cantha, you can purchase those skins from armorers with whatever stats you desire, just like any other armor.
